i miss the trachea-n scald
the warmth, the stench,
the sweet aftertaste
the high, the carelessness,
the closeness,
the smoke wafting through the
humid air,
creating surrealism, in the form of dancing
white, translucent figures
i miss the sweet melon scent
and the laughter that rang through the room
and the table top, telephone box top dances
the heart to heart talks
and burnt pillows.
god, kill me.
sometimes, i wonder, why i gave everything up
for this
